Pony Days run from 10am to 2pm and are split into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session includes a ridden lesson and stable management tuition. The afternoon session includes gymkhana games. At the end of the day all the children are awarded a rosette. Due to the more active nature of pony days they are not suitable for beginners. Those attending will need to bring a packed lunch and warm clothing during the winter months.
Beginners Taster Sessions are designed for children aged from 6 years old who have done little or no riding before. They are half hour sessions where the children are introduced to the ponies and given a beginners riding lesson on the lead rein.
They are ideal for first time riders as they give the child the opportunity to have a ride and develop confidence dealing with the ponies.
We have a maximum of six children allowing a high degree of attention per child.
